A delegation composed of Chinlink, Dashun Foundation and Macau University of Science and Technology visited Hanzhong City in Shaanxi Province from 14 to 16 July, to exchange ideas and explore the competitive advantages and opportunities of local Chinese herbal medicine industry. Dr. Raymond Ho, Chairman of Dashun Foundation and Belt and Road Global Development Alliance, Prof. Liu Liang, President of Macau University of Science and Technology, Mr. Siu Wai Yip, Executive Director of Chinlink International Holdings Limited, and representatives from two Taiwanese enterprises took part in the delegation. The delegation was received by People's Government of Hanzhong City, and visited the Chinlink • Worldport, local Chinese herbal medicine and technology companies, and cultural tourism projects.
Mr. Wang Jianjun, Secretary of the CPC Hanzhong City Committee met with the delegation on 16 July and introduced Hanzhong's six major industries and recent economic development. Dr. Ho commented that the visit had deepened his knowledge and was amazed by the abundant Chinese herbal medicine and precious Chinese cultures resources. He also expressed his intention to promote these invaluable resources in Hong Kong. Mr. Siu said, Chinlink's international resources and comprehensive finance vehicles could give a great support in the development of Chinese herbal medicine and other industries in Hanzhong, to drive the industrial upgrade. A seminar was followed which the government and delegation exchanged ideas and this had laid down a solid foundation for further cooperation.
